Northgate Auto Service has been at 2140 W Foundry St since 1998. Under one roof we do repairs, check-engine diagnostics, brakes, suspension, tires with alignment and A/C service — without sending your car out to three different places.
How we work
- Assessment and estimateThe car goes on the lift, we look over the work and give you a price for labor and parts.
- Approval and partsWe order nothing until you say yes. If something else turns up along the way, we call before deciding.
- PickupA car left in the morning is usually back on the road that same afternoon. For bigger jobs we agree the timing up front.
The facility
Three lifts, a scan tool that reaches the engine, ABS, airbag and emissions modules, a wheel balancer, an alignment rack and an A/C service station. All of it sits in an old brick-walled building — hence "old brick, new technology".

We work on Ford, Chevrolet, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Volkswagen, Audi, BMW and Mercedes, among others — gas, diesel and hybrid.
Drivers come to us from Avondale, Logan Square, Irving Park, Portage Park, Albany Park and Lincoln Square.
Prices and warranty
We give you the price before the repair, after the assessment on the lift — not after the work. We warranty the labor we do and the parts we supply. We'll also fit parts you bring; in that case the warranty covers the labor only.
